    Break out and recycle the old slab, rebuild the base, form and pour 5 inches, then joint it on a grid that actually controls cracking.

03 How we bid

Five days, five steps, one number.

Written the way we run it, not the way it sounds good in a brochure. If any step is going to slip, you hear about it before the deadline, not after.

  1. 01 You

    Send documents

    Civil sheets, geotech, plat or plot plan, and any schedule constraints. PDFs are fine. If it's a residential job, three photos and a tape measurement will do.

  2. 02 Basalt

    Site walk & takeoff

    An estimator walks it — grades shot, soil checked, access measured, spoil and import assumptions written down instead of guessed at.

    Line-item proposal

    Yardage, truckloads, rock tonnage, concrete yards, permits, testing and mobilizations — priced separately so you can see what moves when scope moves.

    Scope review call

    Twenty minutes to walk the exclusions and the assumptions. This is where the change orders get killed before they exist.

    Schedule & mobilize

    Signed dates on your calendar, submittals and certs to your PM, machines on a lowboy. Daily photo log for the whole duration.

Seventeen years in this valley means we've already hit whatever is under your lot. Wet winter clay, cobble at four feet, a basalt shelf that eats a bid — we price for it up front, and the breaker is already on the trailer.
